Yes. It's because Manila is the center point of Philippines. People here are so competitive. If it happens that you haven't finished schooling, there would be a rare chance that you'll get hired.

you have to be competitive here in manila to be able to find a decent job and have a good educational background

@josephpierce231 of course you must finished a degree in college. you still get a job even if you haven't finished schooling but of course the jobs that you are most likely to get are not enough for a living. However if you finished a degree in college there would a higher chances that you'll get hired easily into better companies plus the fact that you passed a board examination^^

Companies in Manila (especially multinational ones) usually look for college graduates, so if an applicant doesn't have a degree, his/her chances are pretty slim. This is why Filipinos place a high value on education.
Another reason is the supply doesn't match with the demand, e.g. lots of nursing graduates but too few nursing job vacancies.

i dont think so but the profits they received are not enough so they go to abroad for better life and better income

@josephpierce231 yes it is, especially if you're a fresh grad. supply and demand does not match.
you are lucky if you'll have a permanent job, most of the time employees are contractual.
