no.. of course there are stupid people who would call them Chinese and have the typical stereotypes in their heads. what you need to know is that these people are not the majority of France, + the biggest asian communities in France are Chinese, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam (the last 4 is due to colonization)

Well a main part of people who are not specially interest by Asia don't really make the difference between a Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc but for all other people who are interest even a little bit by Asia (as me, I studied Japanese for 3 years and I've been to Asia) we don't make this mistake and I can generally see the difference between a person from China, Japan, Korean, etc. ;)
