There are not any big differences that I can think of. Most of the differences are related to spelling. For example:
US: color U.K.: colour
US: favor U.K.: favour
US: gray U.K.: grey

the accent. Also, some words have the same meaning. But in America, they are expressed in a word. in UK, they use another word. like Eraser and Rubber.

Pretty much the same language when spoken but I guess you could say spelling in US English is a bit more simplified and is spelled how it sounds
