It's pretty good, it's rather safe and secure in my experience.

It's hot, it's cold and everything tries to kill us.
But
It was born and raised here. I think it's a beautiful country and I love living here. I always have a good laugh at our wildlife, like the koala that walked into a hospital, and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

It depends where you live, in Sydney it doesn't get too hot or cold but if you go down to Canberra, its is either very very cold or extremely hot. In Brisbane, it stays pretty hot and in Melbourne, the summers are nice but the winters get pretty cold.

@dratnasandra sometimes. I once saw a koala walking down the street on the sidewalk/footpath. You hear a lot of stories about Australian wildlife doing funny things.
