There are many manga books specialty store such as "mandarake" in Japan.
I think favorite place as manga culture is Ikebukuro and nakano for example at tokyo.
The sale of the book is a fixed price in Japan. If you want to buy cheaper, I recommend you to go store of used books. There is the used book store in same place at there.

Yes, but really you could find them anywhere. Book•off is a very popular Japanese bookstore/movie store, and you can find those throughout the Tokyo area. You must remember, however, none of them will be in English. Or Portuguese :P
