Is "get down" incorrect? Or would it just sound unnatural?

A little unnatural
It's unnatural. I don't think that it is TECHNICALLY incorrect, but it sounds odd to my ears. (Sorry for all caps; this site lacks an italics feature.)

Actually now that I think about it, "get down" is just incorrect in this sentence. "Get down here!" is an example of a way this phrase could be used, but this can be very easily taken as rude, so avoid use unless you're being sarcastic, quoting someone, or joking with friends. Also, if you didn't know, Americans will joke insult. I'm not really sure why, but we do.
