I have never heard of sauce of hamburgers. Sauce for hamburgers is just sauces you would put on a hamburger.

"Sauce of hamburgers" sounds weird, like sauce made from hamburger. "Sauce for hamburgers" sounds just like sauce you put on a hamburger.

sauce of hamburger = sauce from the hamburger (very unnatural). sauce for hamburger = sauce to eat hamburgers with. (a more natural expression is "hamburger sauce")
