'Always' implies continuous action and that it's an action you might do at other times as well. For example...
"I'm always walking at work."
Implies that throughout your workday you are mostly walking. But it's also something you do when you're not at work.
On the other hand ...
"Every time" implies when you do something or go somewhere something happens at the time that doesn't happen often at other times. For example...
I walk every time I go to work.
Implies when you're not at work you do not often walk and that the only specific interval of time you do is during work hours.
