+1 to arutgers, but I have something to add:
ir a dormirse..."ir a" is the future phrasal form, and "dormirse" is a reflexive verb which means "to fall asleep." "Dormir" means "to sleep." So if I said "me voy a dormir," the best translation would be "I'm going to fall asleep." "I'm going to sleep" is closer to "Voy a dormir."
