Asoló - es la tercera persona del singular del pretérito perfecto simple del verbo asolar (to devastate, he devastated)
soló no existe
solo - sin más gente (to be alone)
sólo - únicamente, solamente, (only)
La RAE dice que por contexto se entiende y no hace falta acentuarlas para distinguir sólo y solo. Ponerles tilde es opcional.

cuando solo sin tilde significa "sin compañía" un ejemplo seria (nos dio pena verlo solo)
Cuando sólo equivale a "únicamente" por razones didácticas y de claridad comunicativa un ejemplo seria ( Me dijo que le costó sólo diez pesos)
