They're both good, however, I hear pseudonym more than I hear assumed name. Either choice works!

I would say pseudonym, or even "pen name" depending on the context.

Newspaper should be all one word. If Literature Service is the name of a section of a newspaper, it should be capitalised. Head Editor should also be capitalised because it is a title. I don't know what Literature Service is though...

As for the second sentence, it is worded rather poorly and I'm not quite sure what you mean. Are looking to work in the field of radio in Los Angeles? Or are you applying for a specific position? is LA Radio the name of a company?
Perhaps:
"I am applying for a position at LA Radio in Los Angeles, California." if it's a company.
or
"I am seeking a job working in radio in Los Angeles, California."
Also in the last sentence, newspaper is all one word.
