Scusa è formale, si usa normalmente; mi scusi lo usi per dirlo ad una persona più grade di te o che non conosci perché dai del lei.. ad esempio ad un professore puoi dire "mi scusi"

"Scusi" è più formale. Lo usi per le persone adulte o per commessi etc. "scusa" è informale e lo si usa tra amici ad esempio.

scusa è quando tu ti rivolgi ad un amico o conoscente....modo informale
scusi è quando ti rivolgi a persone che non conosci o anziani e quindi usi I modi formali.
