can someone explain to me what is the "lo" meaning?
I am having a hard time understanding it.

por lo general is just like a phrase.
now if you talk about
no lo se - I don't know it
hablalo - speak it
comelo - eat it
limpialo - clean it
it stands for "it"
you will notice those little sentences are speakingto a second person, which is "you"
example:
clean it - limpialo
(you) clean it - tú, limpialo
you don't have to say you because it is a command and by just simply sayinh the verb it is understood that it is talking to "you"

"lo or la" is a pronoun referred to something or someone
for example:
I don't know that question.

do u know where George's house is? (object is the location of George's house) so If u don't have information about it, the possible answer could be "I don't know" in English. In Spanish u can say:
No sé means I don't know
