What is the difference between I'm studying English. and I've been studying English. ?Feel free to just provide example sentences.
What is the difference between I'm studying English. and I've been studying English. ?Feel free to just provide example sentences.
Many English learners write "I 'm studying English.",on their profile of social network such as twitter and facebook, but it sounds a bit strange to me because "S+ be+doing." is for a short action. Can I say "I've been studying English." instead of "I am studying English."? Are both correct?

I'm studying is Simple present tense and I've been studying English is present perfect continues tense.

@sarah_7_ Many English instructors say "I am learning English. " is correct, but one of my instructors said "I have been learning English." is correct.

Eg. I am studying for my exam.
I've been studying english means that you have been studying english for a while.
Eg. I have been studying for my exam since last week.
