Question about Japanese
Can "-te kudasai" be rude? I thought it was supposed to add a level of politeness. This is why I'm so afraid of speaking. I don't want to accidentally offend someone by saying something I thought was polite.

@miharuw15: it is not rude at all.
The point why they add politeness is, this can be used in casual conversation.
In business talk you need to use more polite language but as long as you talk in daily conversation this is enough polite

I think "te kudasai" is polite. If you want to say more polite, use "te itadakemasuka" or "te itsdakemasudeshoka."
