Question about Italian
"a me serve che questo mi venga restituito entro domani"
can you tell me if the word "venga" here is conguintivo presente or imperativo? also why is "restituito" a past participle but doesn't follow essere or avere?
sorry if this is a bit advanced. thanks

In Italian in some cases also "venire", "andare" e "volere" can be auxiliar verbs.
You can say "mi sia restituito" too, but it feels more neutral, with "mi venga restituito" there's more emphasis in the act itself of "giving back".

"venga restituito" si analizza insieme ed è congiuntivo presente passivo. questo perché "venga" in questo caso si considera ausiliario, come essere o avere.
