In that case, I would still not use "life force" unless you want to sound... very unscientific.
I would use words like "hearty" and "robust."
Wild vegetables are more robust than cultivated ones.

No. Most (all?) native speakers will assume "life force" to mean something like a spirit or soul.
I would use "vegetation" or "native plants."
