I came across a clip and they say 'The Germans', 'The Japanese' and 'The Americans'. here, I wonder the difference between 'The + people' and just 'People' like 'Germans'. Plus, would 'Germans' and 'German people' mean the same thing? or there would be different nuance?

Yes they do mean the same thing but the way we use it to explain something could be different, but I don't know that hehe
