@nussartig in fact 'děkuji' and 'děkuju' are interchangeable. The correct grammatical form is that with -i but the common language uses -u in this type of verbs. So use 'děkuji' if you write a novel or an official document and choose one or the other when speaking.

@Pavel1976 Thank you. I find "děkuju" easier to pronounce, possibly because it sounds quite a bit like "thank you" 😁

@nussartig I always say "Děkuju", you can use it anytime, it works in formal situations as well :) I don't know many people who would actually say "děkuji" to be honest

I never would write "děkuju" and I rarely would say "děkuji" (instead of "děkuju").

Děkujeme - plural - used when 'we' are saying thank you
Děkuji za Vaši pomoct. - Thank you for your help. (Saying to teacher, some you speak in formal language with)
Děkuju za Vaši pomoc. - Thank you for your help. (Saying to friend, family member... Some you know) - but not a rule, Czech language is very flexible, you can say it do teacher too, it's not rude
My Vám děkujeme vaši pomoc. - Thank you for your help. (We - more of ppl are saying thank you)
