@angel19 I disagree with your first sentence, as it's much better to use "the ring fits around my finger" or "The ring wraps around my finger" rather than coiled around.
From my understanding "coiled around" is used for things that are open-ended in nature, like they can coil and uncoil. Similar to a spring or a snake.
