Question about French (France)

How do you say "thanks for taking care of that/it"

I know that "je m'en occupe" can mean "i'm taking care of it" / "I'll take care of it"

I also know that "Tu t'en occupes" can mean "you're taking care of it."

But how in the hell can I say, "thanks for taking care of it", but if you're thanking them for already taking care of it.. More like, "Thanks for having taken care of that."

Merci de t'en être occupé? Is that correct? I've never actually used this sentence before, so it sounds weird to me.
