When can "Be -ing" be future sentences ? It normally use for present but my textbook said "We're seeing to doctor at 1pm. "This sentence is completely future sentence. How distinguish with "be going to" ?

When you set appointments or make plans, you use the p.progressive tense:
I'm seeing the dentist next Thursday at 10am. (I made an appointment)

"Going to" uses the +infinitive, to speak about intentions and plans you are considering:
I'm going to visit my friends after school, but I don't know what time.
