Como tal "nunca he sido en EspaƱa" no tiene sentido, lo correcto serĆa "nunca he estado en EspaƱa"

Estar is used with locations or states that may change E.g. Estoy en casa (location).
Estoy enferma (you are ill now but you can get better).
Ser is used with permanent situations.
Soy espaƱola.
Soy empresaria.
