Holidays like the first and second day of christmas are free for everyone.
Even not religious people celebrate christmas with their families at home. I think it became more a tradition, because the people nowadays are not as religious as in the last centuries, but they still like celebrate christian holidays and hold on these traditions.

For religious people it's a big fest. Although many people are not really religious, many of them do celebrate Christmas and visit their families etc.
For some people christmas is the one time in the year they attend church.
I don't know that for sure, but I think christmas is the biggest holiday here. Other holidays might get a lot attention too, but not as much as christmas.

so not religious meaning they don't go to church every day ? or have any god related thing at home.

@Wildflower24 religious people here would go to church once a week or so and believe in general. Other people wont do that.
For example I never go to church and I don't believe in god. But theoretical I'm christian, because I got baptised, when I was little.
