@evh389 in this case "que" it's working as a filling word such as "that"
"nos gustaría que.." -> we would like that..
"nos gustaría QUE nos recomendaran algo" = we would like THAT you( you guys) give some recommendations for us.. / recommend something for us
the first one literally says: we would like some recommendations ( nos gustaría algunas recomendaciones)
the second one as you can see keep the same meaning but it's just another way to say it..
