Québécois can be a bit difficult to understand if you're not used to it (many native French speakers need subtitles).
Different words mean different things sometimes.
I would eat in a restaurant called "Les Sales Gosses" in France but not Quebec.

Yeah, mostly the accent, idioms, and slang. Otherwise the language is the same. People that live in big cities are easy to understand, we understand each other perfectly. It can be a bit challenging with people who come from rural area, but it's very rare that we can't understand each other at all.

@lillilelly when a quebecois writes something, it's quiet similar to the french though. It's what I noticed. But I can't understand them when they speak :)
