I wrote a sentence as follows: "The university was awarded by the Ministry of Education in recognition of its excellence in offering supportive resources and care to foreign students." Is there any problem with it? I will be grateful for any help you can provide.

Almost perfect, but remove that comma before and.
Use ",and" if the two parts can stand alone as sentences (are independent clauses)
"It is with great pleasure that I received...school" is a sentence but "kindly inving me to visit there" is not.
So in this case, there should not be a comma.
It is with great pleasure that I received your letter giving a thorough introduction to the school and kindly inviting to visit there.
