Not much, but children in primary school don't think before they talk, and as they grow up they get mature and learn GOOD things about foreigners and stops at junior or if they are late, senior high. And before you say i'm living in Australia I lived in Japan for most of my life, so I know about this.

Surrounded by the sea, Japan has a limited number of people from other countries. As human nature, people sometimes have unfavourable emotions, fear, scepticism to unfamiliar things/persons.Although most of the Japanese would be nice to people from other countries, there are some, not many, who are mean to different races, religions. In my opinion, it is not that Japanese people dislike foreign people. They are about to start learning how to live with people from different backgrounds. It might take a long time, but I think things are getting better.
