摩擦: to rub against each other (摩擦力: friction), to have conflict (早排同同事發生咗d摩擦) [a very common figurative use]
To add to @pigdog's point, 師, coming from 師傅 (master) or 老師 (teacher), is only used for jobs viewed as a profession except scholars and entrepreneurs.

師at the end of the word usually means its a job.
