It's similar to the difference between British English and American English, really. Canadian French generally sounds more nasal, and they use less English words in day to day life (the French say 'ce weekend', Canadians would say 'cette fin de semaine' for instance)
Same as in British and American English, our swear words differ a LOT (saying 'Calisse' in France would just sound weird)
Canadians also tend to translate English expressions into French quite literally (fall in love/tomber en amour, whereas French people would say 'tomber amoureux')
Fun fact: Gosses is a common colloquial word for kids in France, but it means balls in French Canadian ;)

the accent too 😆 it started to differ since they left europe and it grew seperatly from it so now it sounds really different (but i like it)
