"Hook me up" is more along the lines of sounding.....unusual, or rather, not in the open. Like he'd get it for you.....but not in the way most people would: by buying it.

@poohghk “hook me up” is a slang term used typically by teenagers to say that someone will share something with them. Some use it jokingly, others use it to talk about sharing drugs. Hope this helps
