Nein, das passt auch nicht. Ein Weihnachtsmarkt findet wie ein Wochenmarkt im Freien statt ... es ist sozusagen eine Open Air Veranstaltung. :-)
Du kannst auch NICHT sagen: Ich gehe in den Wochenmarkt, sondern ich gehe AUF den (oder: zum) Wochenmarkt.
Du kannst IN den Supermarkt gehen. Der ist ja normalerweise in einem geschlossenen Gebäude.
