@hinativealain tu peux utiliser les deux au choix...
Mais attention : sans la négation (ne) quelque part dans la phrase "jamais" veux dire : un jour.
tu reviendras/retourneras jamais = tu reviendras/retourneras un jour
La négation serait "tu ne reviendras/retourneras jamais"

@hinativealain parfois "jamais" sans "ne" est employé dans le sens de "en aucun temps", par exemple :
- moi vivant jamais
- jamais de la vie (absolument pas)
- maintenant ou jamais
"Jamais" veux dire aussi "toujours" dans les expressions :
- on va se séparer pour jamais (on va se séparer pour toujours - vieilli)
- à jamais (pour toujours - langage soutenu)
Récapitulatif :
ne... jamais = en aucun temps
que jamais = en aucun temps
jamais = un jour / toujours / en aucun temps (parfois, dans les locutions)
