Question about English (UK)
I don’t understand the last line of this dialogue:
« -Good morning!
-Hiya !
- Need a hand ?
- Nah, you are all right, thanks. »
(Why « you are alright » and not « I’m alright » or « it’s alright » !??)

It's essentially telling the person 'you're alright to not help me, please don't feel the need to'
The person is relieving them of any social obligation to help.
Hope this clears it up :)
