No there is no difference,děkuju is the more formal way to say Thank you,then you have děkuji and then diky,which is informal.Děkuji is between děkuju and diky.

@BiegnacaTruskawa I think its the other way around. Děkuji is formal and nobody says it anymore. Everyone says "děkuju, díky or dík". Even if I am very formal to someone (for example even speaking to my university teacher) i still dont say děkuji, just děkuju :)

@BiegnacaTruskawa yes, you say promiň when you speak to one person, and it's informal. So to your friends, family members and so on. You say promiňte when 1) you speak to more people 2) you speak to one person and want to be formal - teachers, older people,.. :)
