Hi! The word 'because' can be used as an exclamation or reason for doing something. '
For example: (person) "Why did you not clean your room?" (me) "Because I was busy drawing."
1.You can use 'since' by saying something like: "We worked all week because we felt it was our duty."
2. Or it could have sounded like "We worked all week since it was our duty."
They both are similar, but the first seems to flow better. But, I wanted to show you some examples :)
I hope I have helped!

While ābecauseā does imply cause, āsinceā can imply time or cause. What does that mean? It means that most of the time these words are synonymous and you can use either one.
Since my dog is so hairy, I have to get its hair cut regularly.
Because my dog is so hairy, I have to get its hair cut regularly.
Both of these sentences are correct. The only trap you have to watch out for when using āsinceā is ambiguity.
Since we had breakfast, we were filled with energy.
This makes you wonder, were we filled with energy because of breakfast or just after breakfast?
