Question about English (US)
Hello😊 I wanted to know if the following sentences have the same meaning to you. I've seen and heard them more than just "he deserves it", probably because saying that is too normal, I don't know.
a. It serves him right.
b. He had it coming.
What do you guys think? Thank you in advance 💙

Yes, they mean the same thing and they're both in common use. I've heard "He deserves it" - which means the same thing - but people prefer to use an idiom if it is common.
