Question about Dutch (Belgium)
Ik dacht dat "zijt" met "gij" werd gebruikt, niet "bent". Maar ik heb Vlamingen gezien die "gij bent" gebruiken. Is dat een fout? Dialect? Iets anders?

@martino96 “Gij bent” is dialect. Er zijn twee mogelijkheden: ofwel is het “jij bent” ofwel “gij zijt”.

Ik zou zelf "ge zijt" gebruiken, maar "ge bent" sluit dichter aan bij het AN. "Gij" spreek ik echter meestal uit als "ge".Dit is gangbaarder in Tussentaal, al moet ik zeggen dat het soms wat informeel overkomt.

Geen probleem. Ik hoop dat het Vlaams ni wat verstaanbaarder is voor jou. Zelf spreek ik niet echt dialect, maar vooral Tussentaal. Als ik dan toch "plat" praat, dan is het het Brabants regiolect.

@Rhodopoi Ik vind Vlaams accenten gemakkelijker dan Nederlandse accenten wanneer jullie ABN spreken, maar dialecten en tussentaal zijn heel moeilijk voor mij :p
