Question about Korean

네가 ?
I'm not sure but I heard some koreans pronounce this word more like "니가?" than really "네가?"
I suppose that they pronouce like that to make the difference with "내가" because ㅔ and ㅐare very similar sounds so there can be misunderstanding. But actually it's just an hypothesis I don't know maybe it's completely not. Please tell me ^^
