What is the difference between the two?

Myślałam means that I was thinking.
Pomyślałam means that I thought.
The ending “am” means that girl is saying this.
Boys say pomyślałem myślałem

I think this words difference this that for pomyślałem is Perfect but myślałem is imperfect.

How you use "myślałem" you don't must using "ja" becouse "Myślałem" is form to "I". And zawdzięczać this is infinitive. You must write "zawdzięczam".
