Very few men in Japan equally divide their house chores with their partners. But on the other hand, very few women in Japan shoulder the responsibility of 'bringing home the bacon' equally with their husbands either. So, maybe there isn't much inequality there, and we're pretty much balancing each other out after all. Does this sound natural?
