Question about Japanese
Is it necessary to know the stroke order and how to write the kanji? Or is it okay to just know how to read it? Do you actually have to write complex kanji ever day in japan?

Not really. People type more than ever now. You might have to fill out some forms and such by hand using kanji but in such cases you'll typically have your phone with you for looking things up. Focus should definitely be much more on recognition.

I think it’s necessary when writing kanji a lot of them have similarities for example 前 and 月it’s just helpful knowing stroke number is important tho for dictionaries

Most Japanese don't mind about the stroke order of Kanji. Usually I begin to write the corner of left upper to right to botom. However calligraphers have to pay attention to the stroke of order, because for beautiful writing. Especially by blush writing.
