Depends on how much English the person knows. Usually younger thai people know more English. Sometimes they will, but if they look a little confused or they’re just smiling they might be having trouble to understand you. It’s best to try and speak the language to the best of your ability.

@A-ngi3 I tried my best to learn thai before I go in May, but what i can say right now, hope they don't mind if I said something that i didn't mean, because as far as I know pronouncation can make something different meaning when we speak hehhehe
