When you are disturbed, you get distracted from doing something but you are still able to keep doing it. When you are disrupted, you have to stop doing what you are doing now

Disturb:
To bother with something or someone and make them lose focus
• "I did not feel [disturbed] by the crowds constant yelling."
Disrupt:
Interrupt someone
• "I was talking and you [disrupted] me in the middle of the conversation."
