The difference is only they are easy to read or not.
So, 2 is not good, but it is not wrong.
To consider the meaning when 1 happened , 2 and 3 happened.
So, maybe 1 is the best.
However, the best for reding is 3 I think.

The sequential hiragana are difficult to read, so sometimes put a 、between them.

In my own opinion, the whole sentence contains three parts 女の人が種をまく, たちまち芽が出る, つぼみが一つふくらむ。
So sentence 1 means that the last two parts form compound sentence and then the first part compound with them.
Sentence 2 means that the first two parts form the compound sentence and than compound with the last part.
I wander what I say is right or not? Do the two sentence have different meanings in details?

I think that a compound sentence is like this,
私は彼がこなかった事が許せません。
私は(彼が来なかった)ことが許せません。
Your example is events are put in the order that they happened.
So, I think they are almost not different from 1 and 2.
