Question about Finland
Hello! I’m a Polish girl who’s learning Finnish and I’d like to go on a (high school) student exchange to Finland next year. But I don’t know much about what Finns think about foreigners (or Polish people).
Could you tell me a bit what do Finns generally think about people like me? Would I feel good there?

I think you'd definitely have an amazing exchange year. We respect A LOT people who are learning the Finnish language. And especially the youth is really open-minded and good with English so they probably wouldn't judge or bully you etc. and you would always be understood. With that said I'm almost sure that people would be kind to you.

I don't think Finns really have any strong opinions on Poland/Polish people... One of my friends is Finnish-Polish and I've never heard of her getting mistreated because of it.
New students --- especially exchange students --- are always interesting so I'm sure you'd make friends fast at your school. People can be a bit shy/lazy to speak English though, but I guess it could be a good thing if you're serious about learning Finnish.

Oh man, everyone will be so excited to teach you swear words... The only downside will be that everyone will constantly try to teach you something :D
