Goes by แปลว่าผ่านไปครับ The Sound goes by, The Wind goes by, the time goes by, the love goes by ทั้งหมดนี้ถ้า By อยู่หลังประโยคหรือวลี จะแปลว่า "ผ่านไปครับ"

@takky_phatchanee แต่ถ้าอยู่เป็นคำช่วย (ไม่แน่ใจว่าใช่คำช่วยหรือปล่าวนะครับ ลองหาดู 555) ถ้า By อยู่หลัง กริยาที่แสดงการกระทำใน Passive voice จะมีความหมายขยายถึงตัวผู้กระทำกริยาครับ
เช่น
The fish being eaten "by" the cat.
The kid was hit "by" the truck
