@emmalunaVIII thats not correct you wouldn't say "see you afternoon" it would be "see you this afternoon"

It is correct and no one would find it weird! However, these two answers are a little more natural.
"I'll see you later this afternoon."
"See you this afternoon."
English speakers will always assume you mean the afternoon of the current day unless you specify that it is happening on a different day; Which means that you do not need to include the "later" part. The only time you would need to do that is if it is already the afternoon when you are saying it.

its a little unnatural to use "later this afternoon", instead you would say "see you later" or "see you this afternoon" :)
