I got homework from school, and I have to write about what I do in summer vacation. So, I want you to check and correct my English.

I have a plan to go to Canada duaring summer vacation. I studied English abroad in Canada for a year and I stayed with a host familly. So, I want to see them and thank them.
Also, I have a plan to go to New York for a week because I love there. Actually, I have been there once but I was sick and didn't enjoy there. And then, I want to try if my English is undersrandable there. I'm still undecided about rest of days.
