I know it means "Oh God" and "Oh my God". The question is: How can I know when the word received that change or not? I will never know that ilahi cames from the word allah. A bit complex subject but I think it will help me so much if you guys tell me the trick to identify the difference from the original word - changed word. Please if possible use different words, even if exists with allah its fine too lol. Shukran jaziiiiilaaaaan!

There's no difference
ุงููู
Is the name of the God, on the other hand ุงููู just means "my god" like you said, you can say both or you can say one it doesn't change anything, there's another word ูุง ุฑุจู ,that we use and it also means "my god".
If you want to know the source of the word ุงููู it's ุฅูู I hope I helped :)

Elahi comes from elah which is the literal translation of the word god so its really normal for muslims to use both phrases, colloquially there's a slight difference:
Ya allah = oh god / oh allah used when u r praying and asking for something or expressing shock/wonder/liking or sympathy!
Ya elahi = oh my god! U'll usually find this one in books / arabic subtitles and won't hear arabs say it as much if they did use it though they are more likely complaining about something ๐
So if u werent sure about which one u should use take a breathe and use the one u like better cuz technically they are synonyms ๐โ๏ธ and if u r a lil allergic towards the word Allah like if u r a buddhist or something use elahi ๐
